Welcome

The Arrhythmia Institute is a single specialty cardiac electrophysiology practice, founded in 2004, that provides state-of-the-art comprehensive care for patients with heart rhythm disorders.

All of our physicians are board certified in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology and have trained at nationally renowned centers of excellence in cardiac electrophysiology. Our practice combines clinical expertise in implantable devices and advanced ablation with a robust clinical research program that offers patients access to the most up-to-date arrhythmia therapies. With offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and an electrophysiology laboratory equipped with the most modern imaging and three-dimensional mapping systems, our physicians are able to deliver accessible and individualized care to our patients.

Patient Resources

One of our goals in providing comprehensive and compassionate clinical care is the education of our patients. This process begins during office visits with interactions with our physicians and highly trained office staff. The menu at the top of this page provides links to a host of resources for patients to explore while expanding their knowledge of the physiology of cardiac rhythm disorders and available therapies.

ATRIAL FIBRILLATION ABLATION - ANOTHER STEP FORWARD

Advancements in ablation technology now employed by our physicians improve procedure results with significant reductions in exposure to ionizing radiation. The use of intracardiac ultrasound with advanced arrhythmia mapping systems represents an important step forward in the ability to restore and maintain sinus rhythm while minimizing risk to patients and care providers. The Arrhythmia Institute team is actively involved in research focused on advancing the state-of-the-art care for patients with atrial fibrillation.

MRI-SAFE PACEMAKER ARRIVES!!!

Arrhythmia Institute physician, Dr. Michael Rozengarten, implanted the first U.S. MRI-compatible pacemaker in the Mid-Atlantic region on February 16th at St. Mary Medical Center. The new device, made by Medtronic, represents a major advance in cardiac device technology. The Arrhythmia Institute is proud to lead the way in bringing this latest technology to our patients.
